I realize that spring is coming when already at the beginning of March, here in Torre a Castello, the Camerone valley is filled with small shrubs with white flowers. They are wild hawthorns. Their flowering is short, the air is still cold but it is a precise signal of rebirth that Mother Nature sends us.
Soon the fields will be filled with the yellow of rapeseed and the dark red of sulla's flowers; the roadsides will be invaded by the joy of poppies and the heady scent of brooms
I love photographing this countryside in the spring. It's not too warm, low humidity, and the daylight is still reasonably long.
Nothing is more beautiful than spring, really.
